Rock and Roll

Went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this morning and spent 3 hours there! What a fun experience - brought back lots of memories of our youth.  LOL! After the Hall of Fame we walked about 1/2 mile to a local micro brewery and had some local beer and lunch.  The only available seating was at the bar and we ended up being seated next to a couple who live here in Cleveland now, but lived in Scottsdale (McDowell Mountain Ranch) for about 8 years, and she taught art at Basis on 136th Street. For those of you who aren’t from Scottsdale, they lived on the other side of the mountain from us and the school she taught at was down the street from our house. What a small world! We ended up having a fun lunch with them and they gave us a ride back to our boat.

Some reading, filling the water tanks on the boat and getting a pump out finished the afternoon just in time to go over to our friends, Susan and Greg’s boat for docktails . A local couple saw that they were here on the looper tracking page and since they have done the loop twice, they came to visit with all of us. It’s always fascinating to hear about the travels someone else had and the things they did right as well as the things they didn’t do so well.  I keep lots of notes!  Haha.

The winds have picked up and are coming out of the north, so travel tomorrow is “iffy” at best.  We will check on the wind and waves in the morning and make a determination whether to stay another day or not.  There is plenty to do here, so another day would not be a hardship.
